The Mordecai and Esther Foundation in it's abbreviated form is The "ME" Foundation. As many know the verse in Isaiah; Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (NASB) Isaiah 6:8. I want this entire effort of helping orphans to be a personal response to the all important questions. Who will go? Who will help? Who will give? Who will operate? Who will donate services? Who will pray? Who will show love to these needy orphans? All these questions can be answered in the acronym "ME". It has been my personal joy to be the "ME" for 30 years and to see so many children receive so much love. Now it is time for all of us to be the answers to those all important questions.Who else is willing to answer to the call? Thank you for saying affirmatively, ME.

1) Pray that lives will be preserved.
2) Pray for direction for Ray on the front line.
3) Pray for discernment as Board members make important decisions.
4) Pray for the resources necessary to maintain and grow our efforts.

Little is BIG when GOD is in it! The LORD laid it upon my heart to try and figure out something that I could do to help raise money to support Ray and the eleven children that GOD had placed in his care. I was thinking about what I could do and since it was around the time for the county fair where I live and I normally enter food, I made caramel corn and using a new recipe I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out, but it won a blue ribbon. That gave me the confidence to try and sell some to raise money. I asked people if they would consider supporting Ray for 11 dollars. That would be one dollar per child and in return I would give them a bag of caramel corn as my way of saying “Thank You”. I wanted to try and reach a goal of possibly raising two or three hundred dollars. I asked the LORD if he would go above and beyond want I could ask or think. Right away the LORD starting showing me that if I just obey the call He will do all the rest .The response of the people was over whelming. My kitchen looked like a popcorn factory! I made so much popcorn that my hot air popper quit and I realized after it cooled down that it wasn’t broken it had just over heated. It was such a joy to see how the Lord worked in the hearts of his people. I was so humbled that the LORD would use me to help accomplish His plan. The Lord raised over twelve hundred dollars to help Ray and the eleven children. We serve an awesome God!
Children Helping Children
The very first money donated to the ME Foundation came not from an adult but from an 8 year old child. Little Ruthie gave only 37 cents, but it was by far the largest offering given because she gave all she had. Remember in Luke 21:1-4 the widow gave only two mites but was commended by Jesus for giving all she had. Just as the widow did, Ruthie set the example for acceptable giving.
