Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Mordecai and Esther Foundation is taken from a verse in Esther chapter one and verse 2.
"He was bringing up Hadassah, that is Esther, his uncle’s daughter, for she had no father or mother. Now the young lady was beautiful of form and face, and when her father and her mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter."
It has been my greatest satisfaction and desire to see children who were born with bodily deformities be transformed into beautiful shapely children through the use of technological advances in medical science. My 868 pictures to date show the marvelous grace of God working through the blessed hands of well trained surgeons using advanced techniques and the most modern of medical equipment to achieve the restoration of these lovely orphan children. I have been the "uncle Mordecai" to the "Esther" orphans and they truly are beautiful in both form and face today.
The Mordecai and Esther Foundation will expand this model work to allow for many more "Mordecai's" to give their gifts and services to meet the needs of many more orphans. In short, the "ME foundation" will answer the needy questions, "Who will give financially to this work? Who will provide their services to help these orphans? Who will organize this great work to restore these children to beauty in form and face?"
The resounding answer is "ME!" Let's all be the "ME" and work together to fulfill our mission.

The story of Mordecai and Esther is an exceptional example of faith and courage resulting in the salvation of the Jewish nation. Mordecai raised the orphan girl Esther and prepared her for a great work for her people. It has been a great joy for me to be the “Mordecai” to the “Esther” orphans here in China. I have personally rescued 16 children, took them through surgeries and raised each from infancy until today. Although 6 children have died from various terminal medical conditions, the other 10 are doing well today. I have chosen the name “The Mordecai and Esther Foundation” because it reflects in a special way who I am and what I have been able to do. Through the foundation, I want to do more myself as well as to provide an avenue for which others can also be a “Mordecai” to these needy “Esther’s”. China has many needs to meet for orphans, especially as it relates to operations. These past 11 years, God has used me to rescue and provide medical, physical and spiritual care for abandoned babies. Being Mordecai to Esther in the lives of orphans has brought much joy to my heart. These dear children have been transformed into lovely gems whose lives reflect love and obedience to God.
The Mordecai and Esther Foundation will expand the work God has begun through me. Together ,we can do more than I have done personally. The information on this website will show many examples of the love I have had for orphans and the joy it has brought to the children and many others around them.
Mordecai lived an exemplary life marked by faithfulness despite circumstances. He consistently sought to do the right thing and brought honor to God in all his activities.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (NASB) Galatians 6:9
