Greetings dear Christians friends,
I just wanted to shoot all of you an email from a good friend of mine who faithfully prays for me and the kids and shares with her older parents, who also are good friends of mine. As she said, it is hard to share such apparent discouraging words about the orphans and now the Gold kids. I am going to continue to fight and God speaks to me every day through His word. Numbers 13:30 reminded me of how important it is to go by faith against formidable enemies.
"And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it."
We all know it was just Joshua and Caleb that entered the land along with those little ones who were born in the wilderness wanderings. I will stay the course and pray for the 10 orphans to also keep fighting and trusting in HIS grace. Below is the message from a good friend who I believe reflects many (hopefully all) of you out there who receive these updates.

I was going to drop you a note a few emails ago...after the suggestions made by your German friends lawyerI nearly shrieked loud enough to wake my folks!!...so I waited and thought the next one from you would be better!!!...but alas...it just seems like to get tougher for you I know you'd gladly suffer persecution for any of the kiddos. My heart just broke about the Gold kids...I know God often turns evil to good...we usually just don't have the patience or tenacity to wait for His outcome. Ray I praise God you have the persevering to tenacious spirit that you do...but even with your divinely created strong character and the Lords help...I can't imagine how incredibly hard this must be for you. I won't tell the folks about the Gold kids yet, they've had a tough few days lately, so I'm going to wait until probably tomorrow to say anything, I know moms going to be heartbroken as well. She always asks "what's Ray say about his kids?? Has he seen them?"
Anyway, know you're loved Ray...thanks for being willing for God to use you, and keeping us updated, no matter how tough it gets! Continued Hugsnprayers for you and all you hold dear...always✝
