Greetings dear Christian friends,
What a joy to see Jiang Jia Yi slowly improving and knowing that fighting for her life is being honored by the Lord. He loves her very much and I see that everyday and I also see her parents growing in Christ as they study with me every day. We pray together and spend quality time in God's word. I told them months ago, it has always been God's plan to have all this happen for them to spend more time in God's word with me and others and be saved and now grow in Christ. As for the huge medical bill, I had them memorize and we all believe Matthew 6:33
" But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Today was fun day to see her desiring to "munch" on a chicken leg" and begin to learn again to eat. She doesn't swallow well and quite often throws it away but does better with soft food like bananas. She is still somewhat comatose but like I told the day, "I believe she is 75% conscious of what is going on. Her eyesight is very limited even though it looks like she can see at times. All these basic abilities she has had to "re-learn".
I will keep this short and let all of us rejoice in her progress. I reminded the parents that she has come a long way. I told them of how I fought hard for her for days to make sure the doctors and nurses did not discontinue treatment and also the time I was in the US hearing her medications were discontinued. Praise God we succeeded in pushing the entire hospital team to keep working for her. With expenses piling up then, the hospital did not want to deal with Jiang Jia Yi unless money was given. Can you see what a system like this does to people? Is this what we want in the US? I know some of you are saying things like this are already going on in the US. I agree, keep fighting there too. Life is precious and I will never give up until the Lord takes someone while I am heavy in the battle to save the child.
I read an article today in an English publication about a teenage girl who was in a volleyball tournament and I will type a part of the article. It shows how callous even teenagers are here as it relates to babies. It is all learned by the culture and system. We must fight for lives. Now to the article
{A teenage volleyball player is accused of secretly giving birth during a national tourney and abandoned the newborn outside the stadium, only to return to play in the game.
A resident surnamed Ma found the newborn infant ditched in a grassy area next to Chang Xing Sports Center, where the ongoing National Under 18 Volleyball Tournament was being held. "I noticed a trail of blood on the ground." said Ma, which led him to the discovery. I then followed another trail to the stadium....and saw one of the volleyball players with blood on her shoes." She was playing like nothing had happened." he added.}
Back to me now, I don't want to spend too much time critiquing the article but you can be rest assured the comment "secretly giving birth" tells volumes about how this should have been yet another person added to the 450 million murdered already. Oh for the grace of God how this "awful story" ended up with a healthy baby coming into the ungodly world. Amen? Amen!

"Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of Your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger."
Keep praying for Blaza, David, Hannah, James, Rebekah, John John, Joanna, Sarah, Joseph and Deborah to keep strong. Pray also for the safety and future of Gold Egg, Gold Flower and Gold Bar. Thank you also for praying for Jiang Jia Yi and her parents and their huge hospital bill.
