Hello again dear Christian friends,
Thank you so much for prayer for Blaza, David, Hannah, James, Rebekah, John John, Joanna, Sarah, Joseph and little Deborah. I am concerned that they are not aware of the recent progress. Please pray I can get word to them that things are working in their favor. With all the progress, it is hard to wait to see the kids. I am being informed that they will need to be moved first before I can see them. Every time we go to the "protection" gate, there are no leaders willing to meet and talk with us. I know they are protecting themselves from any issues before the kids are moved. Please pray for a break in this impasse. School is out for summer and I know this will mean the kids are just waiting on something but they may not know anything about the recent progress. I know the LORD is in control so I do believe HE will show His mercy to the kids. I just want them to be excited and look forward to my first meeting and subsequently processing paper work to come to the US.
I am being informed I will need to work with an adoption agency and being an Alaskan citizen, I need to do this through the State of Alaska. For anyone who receives this email update, please help me in any way you can. I have never done this and yet I know with all my contacts, God has someone out there who can help me. The leaders said the US agency will need to take care of my documents there in the US and they can contact the Chinese authorities to work to get the kids the necessary paper work finalized. Although this entire situation is very, very unusual, the Chinese authorities will do their part and I am confident the US side will follow through with their paper work. Pray for a smooth transition. The word is after many, many meetings here, they want to finalize the Chinese paper work by the end of June.
I also will need legal advice and I am hoping my lawyers with the "Mordecai and Esther Foundation" can help with this process as well. I am hoping they can help with a Christian adoption agency to help with a smooth transition. We also need to pray about the expenses. I have to believe costs will be special too. Please pray.
