Greetings dear Christians friends,
Thank you for keeping my 10 orphan children in constant prayer. It is hard to believe it has been over 400 days that Blaza, David, Hannah, James, Rebekah,John John, Joanna, Sarah, Joseph and Deborah have been held against their will.
I continue to maintain contact with my Christian friends in China. Gold Flower ( girl 4 years old) and Gold Bar (1 year old boy), who I have in foster care, are both doing well. Miss Wu is doing a good job watching them until I return. I talk with them and study God's word daily on Skype. This has been my consistent habit over the years with all the children I have rescued and cared for. Praise God for technology to be able to teach God's word even when people are on the other side of the planet.
On Sunday when I was talking with grandma Guo, she said she saved an article from the newspaper about the changes for orphans and how the government is giving sufficient paper work on all orphans in China. This is huge. The article also said there were police and legal changes for adoption and foster care. These are the very things I discussed when I talked with the Chinese police and how it was going to go into my investigation report that was going to be submitted to the Civil government. Let's just pray that as God has used me to change some policies and regulations to help orphans, adoption and foster care,and that God will give my 10 back to me to continue the good work that began in them.
The children long to get back together with me and I miss them dearly. It is difficult for our family to be divided up and yet it is a great blessing that the kids have fought to stay together in hopes of returning to me. I also praise God the children have been a good testimony for Christ in both Chinese studies as well as bible study, praise, prayer and witnessing. They know I would die for Christ and they have the same mindset. There is no room for compromise with our family and especially knowing so many people in China do not know the Way, the Truth and the Life, namely Jesus Christ.
Please continue to pray for Jiang Jia Yi, she is the 6 year old girl who was one of the 16 open heart surgeries that I arranged. She is still struggling with infection and in a comatose state. We can only imagine how difficult it is for her new Christian dad to stay by her bed side all day and her mother to stay by Jiang Jia Yi's bedside throughout the night. I stay in contact with both of them and study God's word daily on Skype and pray with them and remind them I am doing all I can to help out with the bills. Please pray about what you can do to help me come up with sufficient funds to keep treating this lovely 6 year old girl. It is hard for me to comprehend God's will in this but I know her heart surgery was life saving and was successful. Her infection after being out of ICU was a shock to all of us. Pray for two things.
1. Jiang Jia Yi would come out of the coma and her infection would go away.
2. Pray that we can come up with money to pay the hospital bill. It is close to 50 thousand dollars now.
As has been the case with most of what the Lord has done through me in 30 years in China, I'm stuck with the impossible. Praise God for reminders like Matthew 19:26
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
One more interesting thought. Take a listen to this amazing news about how the Jews want to rebuild the temple, and more secular Jews than religious!!
