Hello dear Christian prayer partners,
Thank you for praying about the 10 children, their future, my contact with them and the plans to get to the US. There is so much to do and I need prayer for wisdom. As you can expect, I have never done this before and our situation is very unique and will require some real wisdom and unusual planning. I am almost completely in the dark but I do know the Civil government is willing to allow me to adopt them if things are done right. I will need both Holt International and also some other sort of entity to work with them to bring them to the US. Pray for me to know where to go next. I know I will need to talk with someone from Holt International. It is good I have received 3 solid references that HOLT is very professional and has good "connections" here.
In the mean time, I want to see the kids. This is really getting ridiculous. I just keep crying out to the Lord. It is amazing to me how the "church" and "Christendom" has their own "political correct Christian language". I praise God for the bible and how it is so helpful with knowing how to pray to God and what is right and proper to say in prayer language. Let me try this on for size with anyone out there who thinks they are very biblical in their understanding of a proper prayer and yet would very quickly be identified from this Psalm as erroneously "politically correct" but not true to God's word.
If Ray Wigdal stood up on a Sunday night and said the following words as a testimony to petition people to pray, I am sure they would tell me I am "bitter" or "angry" or "in need of serious counsel" and for sure "not right with God" because I would be lacking in trust and love and would seem emotionally unstable.
Look at the True words of Psalm 55, God is showing us how to pray, especially when times are extremely challenging.
Ray Wigdal says this to the local church on a Sunday night prayer and testimony time and I quote, " I am restless in my complaint and am surely distracted".
"For they bring down trouble upon me
And in anger they bear a grudge against me."
"Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and murmur,"
"For they are many who strive with me." Psalm 55 verses 2,3,17and 18 respectively.
I can just hear the "Christianity Today" counselor saying, "Ray, you are bitter toward too many people, with your confusion it is obvious you are not trusting God, you act like everyone is against you and want revenge when you should just forgive everybody. We all see this has gone on for a long time and unless you quit your complaining and striving, it will only get worse.
I will close with asking you all to pray and please consider my idea of using the Psalms to direct you specifically in how and what we should say in our prayers. Amen?!
Ray and the 10 and many more orphans to help as the Lord tarries.
