Greetings dear Christian prayer partners,
It is a great comfort to know that we are in God's family and HE cares for all of us with His covenant love. Here it is now already 527 days the 10 Christian orphans have been trapped in the "protection" center. A week has not gone where I do not visit the facility. Some times twice a week I make visits to keep the fight going to help them out. We never get to see the kids and can only talk at the gate. Please continue to pray. I realize there are many who feel it is a lost cause and it is even sadder when Christians give in to the notion that it was never meant to be that I rescued, made arrangements for operations, home schooled the kids in Christian materials and taught them all to be a family with me. How do those believers respond to leading all the kids to Jesus Christ? Another way to say it "was the wrong way to do things" is to use Acts 5:38 to show it was not His will.
"So in the present case, I say to you, stay away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or action is of men, it will be overthrown;"
I choose to apply verse 39 of Acts 5 to describe the present situation.
" but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”
There is no doubt in my mind it is always right to save a life, always right to share the love of Jesus Christ, and it is always right to defend orphans and oppressed children. Isn't it amazing how our world has been turned completely upside down. Right is wrong and wrong is right, or at least it is presented to be so. We know better, fellow Saints of the Most high and defenders of the truth of God's word. Amen?! The truth is we don't have to defend it, we just present it and it will demonstrate it's own power. It is clear to me that in my present situation, there are many who have chosen to "fight against God" and I know it is only a matter of time when God takes us "out of chapters 1-37 and move us to chapters 38 through 42 of Job". I don't claim to be a Job, but I do greatly appreciate how God used Job to hold his ground, trust in his being right with God and look to God to eventually defend him. It is strange how the "Christian world" looks at such talk as "self righteousness" today. If one stands up to defend his or her good works for the Lord he or she is deemed proud and self reliant. I get the fact that there are Christians who are proud and self righteous and we can all be that way at times. I just don't see myself in this light through this trial. I am very quick to blame myself and listen openly to criticism and I also know the Holy Spirit will speak to me through His word about this.
Enclosed are a couple of pictures of Jiang Jia Yi, she is improving but still can't see normally and is still bed-ridden. She is moving around more on the bed and is much more active. Thank you also for praying about her parents hospital bill. I help out every so often with hundreds of dollars for them to "show good faith" in working to pay the bill.
On final prayer is to pray for Miss Jin, she used to have that "semi-private" orphanage and she is coming back on May 20th and wants to try to contact a different government department. Pray as we proceed.
Uncle Ray, the 10, the boys at the orphanage, the Gold kids and many more kids in the future.
