Chinese Seasons Greetings dear Christian friends,
God has put it on my heart to continue to reach out to the Chinese leadership in allowing me to implement a plan to use the 10 orphans I have trained to be the core team to assist orphans in the future. The problem of abandoning children and the plight of orphans will never be completely abolished. I know David, Hannah, James and Rebekah are well trained to assist in caring for children and will no doubt be used to help orphans in the future. These children are like-minded in their compassion and love toward the unfortunate. They are grateful for all uncle Ray has done for them and want to do their part to help other orphans in the future.
Please pray for wisdom as I put together a detailed plan to be submitted to the Chinese authorities for their consideration.
Simply said, I want to be able to have the children returned to my care with the idea to continue to train them in helping other orphans. They are poised to be the most effective in love and compassion knowing they themselves were abandoned and in need of medical assistance.
As the verse in Proverbs 16:1 so clearly states, God expects us to make plans and we can know He will direct us and lead us according to His will. I strongly believe what I have done is the right and best way to care for orphans and I continue to go by faith to wait upon the Lord to open up a door of opportunity to return to caring for the 10. I know they also want to be with me and know that God's timing is the only thing holding up their return to me. I also know that God has not taken the children away from me, rather He is preparing all of us for bigger things for orphans. Ultimately we will all look back on these trying days and see how God has prepared the 10 children and myself for greater opportunities to help more orphans.
There have been policy and legal changes to issues surrounding orphans and I am confident my meeting with the police has had impact. The report submitted to the government would no doubt have influenced the huge changes to official recognition of all orphans in China and also there are new changes to adoption and foster care. When we discussed things in my meeting with the final interrogation unit, we all wanted to see "Change". I praise God for being used to make changes, especially if it means orphans have a better quality of life and opportunities.
I will be meeting with several Chinese lawyers when I return to Beijing and work with them to put together a detailed plan to be submitted to the authorities. Pray for wisdom for me. It is yet another aggressive plan the Lord has put on my heart. May He be honored in all out efforts.

In this the 431st day of being separated, continue to pray for comfort for the children (and me too) and that God is keeping them strong in His word and work. As I have been the "ME" (Mordecai to Esther orphans) they will be the future "ME" to more orphans. As for adoption for them, I know they want to stay together with me and would never want to be divided up under any circumstances. It is nothing less than amazing to know they are still strong in faith to believe they will be back together with me even though it seems bleak. As I have said to many friends, there are too many promises in God's word about orphans and children who believe to think the are just going to continue to suffer. We will continue to patiently endure, faithfully persevere and wait for His perfect timing to release us from this bondage. Amen?!

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
